Although it has been over two months since we enjoyed the wonderful provisions available at the Dinefwr Literature Festival, we are still dreaming of the wonderful arts & crafts which were available for sale in our market hall, within the historic inner courtyard of Newton House. The festival was lucky enough to host a selection of excellent traders, many from the Carmarthenshire area.
Poet and printmaker Francesca Kay offers poetry in handmade seed packets, and letterpress printed poetry on pages of old books and on luggage labels. Her letterpress printed and knitted finger puppet cards celebrate Shakespeare and Dylan Thomas. There’s dip pen and ink artwork too – all created in the shed at the bottom of the garden!
